The Council of the City Municipality of Pantelej adopts regulations and other general acts of the City Municipality, in accordance with the Statute of the City of Nis.

• adopts the budget and final account

• gives prior opinion on the Program of the development of the City of Nis and on urban development plans for the territory of the City Municipality of Pantelej.

• decides about the symbols celbrations at the City Municipality of Pantelej and establishes and celebration pantelej and establishes rewards and public commendations of the municipality

• decides on cooperation and association with other city municipalities both in the country and abroad

• announces a referendum for its territory or a part of the municipal area and responds to the citizens initiative

• performs other tasks defined by this decision and in accordance with the Statute of the City of Nis.
